Weather came good just at the right time, to give an excellent day's weather. Even the wind during the day rarely exceeded a reasonable 5 - 10 knot breeze with minimal gusts. The prospect for remaining days looked good also even if rather hot. Thanks go to the many who prepared and delivered an excellent cook out.
The video below (some resolution limitations due to being taken on a still camera) represents a sample of some of the flying and includes some very enjoyable RC flying by Bob Seraphim, a welcome visitor from New Jersey. He showed considerable skill flying his helicopter and also a "Spad" - a bare bones plane built from sign board and bits and pieces! The helicopter came out again after dark, when he flew it with lights on board - the rotor disc had integral red LED lights and created two very brilliant red circles and the body and boom were wound with "Glow Wire" - a very effective light source - great to watch.
Most attendees enjoyed some good and safe ultralight flying and there were several PPC's - one of which is in the video. A Taylorcraft dropped by as well although only staying a short while. (Direct link) to YouTube.
