Memorial Day Weekend Fly-In Report

Start Over

The weather was kind although by Monday things had gotten pretty hot. Some limitations were felt due to a fairly brisk wind, in particular on the Saturday, though that day finished well with a late day picnic.

There were still a good many folks who flew in over the course of the extended weekend and early and late day flying was still quite successful, with a good selection of craft to see. On the Sunday evening Chuck Dos kindly took many folks up for a flight in his two seater Quicksilver - and Chris on Saturday and Sunday afternoons filled some afternoon air time with his RC models.

Reynoldsdale nearby had its own celebration of Memorial Day courtesy of a resident who regularly puts on a magnificent flag display.
